After the thrilling success of my book Seven Ways of Looking at the Transfiguration on Kickstarter, I’ve decided to tackle the next lesser-festival/homiletical-impossibility, namely the Ascension!
Because it’s intrinsically connected to the Transfiguration (as I discovered in the process of writing that first book)…
Because it perpetually stresses out moderns who think their scientifically precise knowledge of the stratosphere and, indeed, outer space somehow invalidates this christological event…
Because artwork about the Ascension is wonderfully, comically fixated on Jesus’ feet.
And for so many more reasons besides, which is why this one is tentatively titled Forty Ways of Looking at the Ascension… a mere seven just won’t cut it.
Anyway, if this is the kind of thing that floats your boat (or your Savior), please click the Notify me on launch button on its Kickstarter page so you know exactly when you can get your hands (and feet) on this next installment!
