Deep down in old Judea, in Jerusalem
The walls had this one gate that let you pass through them
This gate it was so narrow that you’d have to be
The skinniest of bodies that you’d ever see
One day a camel said I’m gonna push on through
No matter it’s the last thing that I ever do
Go, go
Go camel go,
Go, go camel go
Go, go camel go
Go, go camel go
Go, camel push through!
The camel eyed the gate, saw it was needle-thin
Told that gate, Now lookit, you just let me in
The gate said back, Hey buddy, don’t you be a fool
To get inside you just obey one simple rule
Drop your heavy burdens, swallow down that pride
And you will slip right through onto the other side
Go, go
Go camel go,
Go, go camel go
Go, go camel go
Go, go camel go
Go, camel push through!
The camel wouldn’t listen and he wouldn’t scare
His head and neck plunged through and he was halfway there
But then his great big hump got stuck and wedged in tight
That camel pushed and pulled and strained with all his might
He popped through but by then the damage had been done
That’s why the camel’s got two humps instead of one
Go, go
Go camel go,
Go, go camel go
Go, go camel go
Go, go camel go
Go, camel push through!
